Research Intern
Diana Aceituno-Obando is a fourth-year undergraduate student at UNC Chapel Hill pursuing a major in Sociology and a minor in Health and Society. Her research interests focus on health equity and disease prevention in the Latinx community.
Diana previously served as a community health worker intern at Vecinos, Inc. Farmworker Health Program in western North Carolina. In that role, she helped assess North Carolina farmers’ health-related needs.
